simply put by Jordan’s taste the best fruit from the West Coast comes off Red Mountain. When he has the chance to try his hand at this and the Cabernet he simply couldn’t contain himself and we are thrilled he didn’t. The powerful structures of Red Mountain fruit are combined with the power of the Portuguese varieties Touriga Nacional, Tinta Cao and Souzao here to make an insane wine. Its inky, rich, powerful and simply incredible. There is tons of fruit balanced with savory components here but it is the power and tannic structure that this wine is all about. Killer stuff and a sad day to discount it. Be patient. This baby needs some time and would be recommended between 2025-2030. Drinking it now, we would recommend some air and a big plate of meat.
