Enjoy wine and a show!
The following are available for purchase at the concerts:
2011 Boneyard White - $20/bottle
Laid back, but with a mean streak. Crisp as our harvest mornings but more suitable
when we’re itching for something a bit edgy in the hot summer days. Ozzy’s got a
boneyard, so why can’t we rock out with this awesome wine? It’s all about finesse
and crisp sipping with almost crunchy acidity holding together some grassy, citrus,
floral and apple like notes. 42% Chardonnay; 28% Viognier; 19% Petit Manseng;
11% Pinot Gris
2011 Rose - $20/bottle
It’s a classic – style that is. Pale salmon color, with good intensity of fruit and some
herbal tones on the nose. The palate is light, crisp and clean with plentiful fruit
making the wine a classic for sipping through the summer nights at the concerts.
31% Merlot; 22% Malbec; 21% Cabernet Sauvignon; 15% Syrah; 11% Pinotage
2010 Charval - $20/bottle
2010 Long-Bomb, Edition 4 - $25/bottle
Reminds us of the song “Patience” by Guns ‘n Roses. Soft and smooth, coming
from such a loud and massive year like 2010. This wine is drinking superbly in its
youth. 53% Cabernet Franc; 25% Merlot; 10% Cabernet Sauvignon; 6% Pinot Noir;
4% Petit Verdot; 2% Tannat
2011 Boneyard Red - $20/bottle
Loads of briary type fruit, firm but balanced tannins and a good streak of acidity
holding it together. Some more earthy elements balance with the fruit to make a
complex wine in its youth but it will continue to age for a few years.
31% Cabernet Sauvignon; 21% Petit Verdot; 21% Merlot; 11% Tannat; 11% Cabernat Franc; 5% Pinotage
