The Pavilions at Tarara
Two of the most unique venues at Tarara are the Pavilions: versatile enough to host intimate gatherings, large enough to accommodate anyone. The interior of the pavilions can be transformed into a dramatic dining experience or the perfect picnic location. Both offer spectacular locations for social events…whether it be for formal gatherings, a sunset reception, an anniversary party or a casual company picnic.

Perfect for corporate team building activities or family gatherings, Lakeside offers easy access to 6 miles of hiking trails laced throughout the surrounding woods.

Surrounded by majestic hardwoods, the Meadow Pavilion offers an exclusive and serene venue for any occasion. Dressed down or dressed up, the meadow pavilion creates an atmosphere of natural elegance for your special occasion. Adjacent to a rolling 15 acre meadow, the pavilion provides the ideal private place for your guests to enjoy fun in the sun or elegant sunsets.
Or if you are looking for the just right venue for team building activities, the Meadow includes a volleyball court, softball field, and horseshoe pit while still leaving plenty of room for all the necessary entertainment to make your event fun and memorable.

Tenting at this Pavilion provides additional seating for larger groups.
The boardroom located above the Winery provides privacy and a comfortable atmosphere for business meetings and retreats. Our indoor facility creates an exclusive unique meeting space for up to 12 people providing privacy as well as productivity.
Mahogany doors open to the Great Room and fireplace, offering a more casual area with comfortable couch seating for a coffee or cell phone break. Or, for a breath of fresh air, take a walk through the glass sliding doors out onto the veranda overlooking the orchards.
Mid-day, the Winery Deck presents a relaxing setting for a light lunch, afternoon break or post business meeting reception.
The Bacchus Gallery and Winery Deck
Let the ambiance of The Bacchus Gallery wine tasting room turn your special event into a unique gathering between friends and family. A 60' granite tasting bar wraps around an intimate seating area, complete with a fireplace to warm any occasion. Our tasting room is commonly used for seasonal parties, private dinners, rehearsal dinners or small wedding receptions.
The Gallery Tasting Room opens onto a charming wood deck overlooking the Potomac River, set against the backdrop of Sugarloaf Mountain. Surrounded by a canopy of trees, the Winery Deck offers a relaxing, pleasant atmosphere for a private party and other special events. Whether it's a tented formal gathering or a casual picnic, the Winery Deck provides the perfect location.
Upon taking a tour of the Winemaker's Cave at Tarara, you and your guests have the opportunity to be enveloped by the romance and tradition of winemaking. Roam below ground for an unforgettable experience amidst the aromas of fine wine aging in oak barrels. Tarara's wine cave is the ideal compliment to any special occasion.
Nestled in the trees, Tarara's beautiful 10-acre lake has the perfect place for a memorable ceremony and large tented reception. Against the natural back drop of the lake and protected by an umbrella of large shade trees, The Lawn at Shadow Lake provides an open air site for seasonal wedding ceremonies. The Lawn provides the ideal place for your guests to enjoy afternoon's gentle lake breezes and elegant sunsets....a graceful backdrop for any occasion.
Tents can be erected for ceremonies and catered dinners for up to 300 people.
Additional Information:
Tarara wine must be served.
ABC Banquet license must be provided if beer and/or champagne are to be served.
Hard liquor may not be served.
A minimum of two Tarara employees may be required at $25 per hour.
