| Tarara's New Service: Weekend Wine Stop |
Celebrating a birthday with your closest friends? Catching up with college buddies you haven't seen in years? Giving the lucky bride a bachelorette party she'll never forget? Looking to do something offbeat, festive, and exciting that's an easy drive from the city? Tarara Winery proudly introduces its newest service; the Weekend Wine Stop.
The Weekend Wine Stop has been created to accommodate large groups (12 or more guests) arriving in individual vehicles, buses, limos, or even canoes and kayaks! The Wine Stop will be set up at a pre-determined outdoor venue on-site at Tarara Winery depending on availability. Signage will be placed directing guests and their drivers to the tasting area designated for that weekend.
For only $15 per guest, the Weekend Wine Stop provides a unique experience to travelers touring the Loudoun Wine Trail. Wine Tastings are held in a beautiful, outdoor setting hosted by one of Tarara's knowledgeable and entertaining Wine Specialists. These venues include the beautiful Meadow Pavilion, situated in a lush, forested glade, the rose-laden Crush Pad by our wine production facilities, or the Concert Grounds, home to our signature Summer Concert Series. Guests will be provided information exclusive to Tarara's wines, including mouth-watering food pairing and recipe ideas. A collection of CD's is on-hand so that visiting wine enthusiasts can listen to their choice of music, from modern hits to classic jazz, while tasting our award-winning wines. In addition, picnic or bistro-style tables and chairs are provided so guests can sit down with a glass of wine and enjoy their lunch. Tarara's wines will be available to purchase by the glass, bottle, or case, and a 10% discount will be included for all Weekend Wine Stop guests.
Tarara Winery prefers that reservations be made in advance, but walk-in groups are always welcome. Keep in mind that there may be a short wait if a group shows up while another group is tasting. Guests are more than welcome to bring a picnic lunch and non-alcoholic beverages, however, no outside alcohol is permitted on the property and all coolers will be subject to inspection. Wines purchased at other wineries must remain unopened and left in the vehicle in which guests arrived.
We look forward to welcoming you and your group to Tarara's Weekend Wine Stop! For more information or to make reservations, contact Erika Tribett at (703) 771-7100 ext 251, or by email at etribett@tarara.com.
