It's officially Summer and you know what that means...  Summer concerts, fine wine, grilling out, laying out at the beach and enjoying the sun and fun.  And when we go swimming, of course we like to swim in fine knit wear...
Can't go to the beach?  Why not celebrate a stay-cation with some Tarara wines?  Our Tasting Room is open seven days a week and our excellent staff is ready to welcome and provide you with all of your needs!
Come check out our themed Premier Tastings - this month we're featuring white wines from across the vini-spectrum, and in August it's all about terroir!
And what could be finer that hanging out at a winery? (OK, it almost rhymed...)  How about hanging out at a winery's Lakeside Lawn and having the convenience of tastings and sales at our Wine Kiosk?  Yep, we're set up to supply your bucolic Seurat-like scene (see below) with delicious Tarara wine while you relax under the shade!  Check it!

The Bistro VIP Tent at Tarara’s Summer Concert Series is your opportunity to have a fun, laid-back yet elegant experience while rocking out to some of your favorite tunes. 
In the Bistro VIP tent you will walk the Red Carpet to a disco ball lit lounge where you can chill, order up some bubbles, eat up some killer local BBQ from Monk's BBQ, and groove at your table for the night.  Really it is the ultimate way to celebrate the concert series.  Southern Hospitality meets a red rope experience!
You also don’t have to wait in line for wine.  The tent has its own bar!
$45.00 per person / includes dinner and the ticket to the concert

Fine Vine Celebration Early Bird Tickets
Only a couple more weeks to get in on the early bird pricing for our signature event!!!  
On Sunday, October 5 we invite you to help celebrate Tarara's 25th Anniversary at the annual Fine Vine Celebration - our one-of-a-kind not-to-be-missed main event of the year!  
Guests will begin their experience with an elegant cocktail reception, followed by an exquisite five-course meal from some of the region's most celebrated restaurants, including Market Table BistroPatowmack FarmThe Wine KitchenGrandale Farm, and Salamander.  Each course will be designed specifically to complement a carefully chosen selection of Tarara wines.  
And this year, we're adding something really special to the mix!  Each guest will receive a limited-edition 25th Anniversary bottle of 2013 Chardonnay, sourced from our oldest vines in the vineyard.  You guessed it....they're 25 years old!

The Boneyard in Purcellville

Super-secret-stealthy no more!  We're back in Purcellville and will be pouring some awesome Boneyard wines at the Purcellville Visitors Center at the historic train station every month!  Located at 200 N. 21st Street, we'll be pouring the Boneyard Unrefined lineup of White, Rose, Red, Boneyard Skins, Boneyard Cabernet Sauvignon, plus our awesome Bad to the Bone Bubbles!
This is  also the chance to grab some of the last spots in the charter membership for the exclusive Boneyard Club!  Sign up and receive some killer wine, including the 2010 Boneyard Syrah!
We'll be rockin' the Boneyard on the second and fourth weekends of each month (excluding July 26), so pop in and grab some tasty Boneyard wines for your table!

Epicurience Virginia 2014
We are super-stoked for the 2nd Annual Epicurience Virginia Wine and Food Festival.  Once again held in Morven Park in Leesburg, we'll be pouring wine alongside our partner-in-vino-et-veritas The Boneyard over Labor Day Weekend, August 29 - September 1.  As those who attended last year's inaugural Epicurience can attest, this an event that should not be missed!  Come hungry and stay thirsty!  We'll be pouring some really exciting wines and look to see you there!

Bottling the Juice
Come the middle of August, we'll be welcoming the newest members of the Tarara lineup into the fold as we bottle some of the 2013 white wines.  One of the coolest steps in the winemaking process, this is where our patience in the vineyards and our resolve in the cellar starts to pay off - next stop is the palate and the true taste test!
